I can still remember when I found out those were 2 different words, It had always been one of those fun things about language that two so completely different things were described by the same word. Oh well.
I was always confused by new stories about attacks by heavily armed Gorillas when I was a kid.
I also remember watching old movies on TV where one of the characters would say “sorry, I don’t drink”, wondering what they did after eating crackers, for instance..

I don’t like words like lead and lead. You aren’t always sure how to pronounce it especially if there isn’t much context.

I read somewhere that red impacts our brain functions but he reads about all those reeds, and I haven’t been by the red lake recently.
