He’s scary. My stylist is an amazing Aussie, with a fantastic sense of humour. She doesn’t do the 3rd person routine.

Gee, Jan, a flamboyant gay hairdresser. Any other offensive stereotypes coming up? Perhaps Evie visits an African American friend and is served fried chicken and watermelon?

Hey I’ll visit anyone who will serve me fried chicken and watermelon, I don’t care what colour they are.

Love it, love it. Sarah loves talking about herself in the third person. Who doesn’t?

Simon will do something fantastic, and Evie will be very happy. It’s ok with me if he talks third person, but I hope he doesn’t wind up calling himself “Simone”

Why does Evie have one big buck-tooth in panel one???

I may be caucasian, but I will also go anywhere for some good fried chicken and then some cold watermelon (would you mind picking up some cold beer to go with that, please?).

eatteaphonenome like fbjsr said, YOU are the one suggesting the stereotype and Jan Elliot is suggesting nothing.

Simon IS either gay or bisexual. Jan once had him angrily tell Val that “All Men Are Pigs!” Simon also asked if HE could have Phil, if Val wasn’t going to get more serious with him.
