Wow, Val stopped Alix in mid-crunch!

Um, uh, do they have a cook book in the house? If not I suggest Ramen, Hamburger and Tuna Helper and prayer

I’d have thought they were well and truly old enough to know how to cook, at least basic stuff. Salads, pasta, eggs, it’s not rocket science.

For that matter, Val is well and truly over the age for knowing how to cook!

Well, they can always make stone soup. You take a boiling pot and put a stone in it…

The girls should have learned how cook from their grand mother.

Looks like a week of tv dinners, pizza and Mickey D’s.

Val does know how to cook. But nobody wants to eat her cooking. She is one of the worst cooks on the planet.

My bride asked if I could cook. “No” “What have you eaten for the last 30 years?” “OK, I’ll make soup. Where’s the baloney?” She cooks.

This is so funny. Kids I use to know and thats too many years ago didn’t cook. My mom though knew some families where the kids did cook.

I helped my mom when I was a kid but didn’t “cook”–I taught myself after I moved out of the house and then got married. Eventually I went to cooking school….. you never know!

I hope the strip’s authors don’t have Evie back down and not go to Thailand due to pressure from her selfish family.

Heaven’s no, there’s way too much fodder for comic menus to back down. And Evie can beam back what SHE’s eating in Thailand. Bets the kids go into shock.

They know Val’s cooking is mediocre, & don’t think they can learn better!
