Sell it to the highest bidder. Better still, put the seat up on ebay.

oldlegodad, for a coverup it was amazingly poorly done. Republicans are much better at that, e.g., Iran-Contra, which is almost as bad as the Iraq falsehoods…

    A. I don’t understand how Caroline Kennedy can possibly have anything to do with Chappaquiddick. B. At least we don’t have to look at those huge threatening female body parts of Hillary – Caroline can be depicted as a little girl. C. Is there anything in between those 2 depictions of women?

Oh just give it Bill…he will have too much time on his hands when he goes overseas with Hillary…like a loose cannon in a bar or a Bull in a china shop. The poor man needs purpose.

Actually, Bill’s been doing some great work with his foundation, including bringing a lot of people together to give serious money. He’s not just sitting on his hands, believe me.

Not true, oldlegodad - he’s just the classic definition of a cynic, which is an idealist in disguise. In the introduction to one of his most recent books he gave high praise to Gerald Ford, whom he saw as a good man, able to laugh at himself, regardless of whether he was a good President or not. Oliphant did a slide show to a crowd once that included ex-President Ford, and showed his typical picture, which always put a band-aid on Ford’s forehead to indicate his clumsiness. On a whim, Oliphant took the charcoal he was using to do live drawing, and went over to Ford, and drew the band-aid on his actual forehead! Ford held still, and laughed with the rest. Oliphant said “I’ve drawn many Presidents, but it was the first time I had drawn _on_ a President.” I believe he dedicated the book to him.

Since she is a liberal that somehow makes her qualified to be in the Senate. Never mind she has no experience whatsoever and has been practically a hermit all of her life so she has no chance in hell to connect with the people she’d be representing. So now we will have an unexperienced Senator as well as an unexperienced President.

But I guess experience is only an issue when it’s a Republican in question….none of you could dare say she’s more qualified than Palin.

Okay, I shouldn’t even rise to the bait…but TGS, there is one (1) aspect in which Caroline is far better qualified than Palin, which is her education. Apart from that, no, I don’t think she’s a good choice, either.

    “which is her education”

No attempt to “bait” anyone was being made but I do have a question about your comment. Her education? As if Palin was not educated?
