The station I’m listening to right now is playing Bob Dylan’s version of Mr. Tambourine Man. It’s bloody awful. Dylan may be a descent song writer, but in my opinion he sucks as a performer.

there are some folks in my part of the country that think fried biscuits and apple butter is the cat’s meow (so to speak)while delicious, of course, it sounds more like an attack on cholesterol levels.(sigh), I am in a situation where I have to avoid sugar in all forms, especially fructose, even honey and maple syrup…Chocolate covered donuts , pancakes or french toast with real maple syrupI MISS that stuff!..when you become a label reader , you become enlightened to the fact that the processed food industry would COLLAPSE overnight if they didn’t have access to copious amounts of fructose and sugar. it’s in EVerythingbut..as Homer Simpson would say:mmmmm, pancakes mmmmmm.pardon the personal rambling there, I’ll get back to the usual, more idiotic comments just as soon as I can

Bob Dylan has a very unique voice that people either love or hate. Upon hearing it, I am immediately transported back to that wondrous time…the sixties. The man created great music and poetry that stands the test of time and his nasally voice is as much an important part of that as the musical notes, instruments, words….

But, that is strictly my opinion.

Mr. Tambourine Man (Bob Dylan:Live at the Newport Folk Festival, 1964)

I am in the can’t stand him camp. Bob Dylan would sound better under water, and the further under the better.

Rod Stewart’s not cherished for his ‘voice’, either. ;) But thank-goodness for Bloomfield and the Byrds!

Great saying Stel, *Welcome to the golden years, but where’s the gold"? I’d like an answer to hat one myself!

MY BP is up, trying to bring it down by cutting salt and sodium out of my diet to a great extent. Garden tomatoes, green onions, radishes, etc. just don’t taste the same without it. And so much for my late night comfort foods, Stouffers Mac and Cheese and Stouffer’s Cheddar Potatoes!

Anybody here own an infrared heater, the kind that heats 1000-1500 sq. feet, like EdenPure, Life Smart, etc. and if so, do you like it? Did it increase your electric bill by a lot or a little? and so on.

As I read your comment, Fellow Baby, I am munching on a light salad with lettuce, onions and radishes. Ate the last of the tomato yesterday. But I’m not skimping on the salt or salad dressing.

Jkiss is that information posted somewhere on one of their blogs or something or did you email them and they ans right away, or did you just call them? Yes, I have called them before, I forgot I could do that, LOL!

I will try your suggestion in your first comment. I hate when they make changes! I for one, don’t FB, pinterest or any of that garbage.

JKiss and Linda And on a sign in the kitchen at the Dinette Set today, we have AGE IS LIKE WINE … SOUR GRAPES!

As I approach 60, and read the obits in the paper, I hate to say it, I think “oh gee, that person is only 7 years older than me”, “oh gee, that person was 80, got about 20 years left”, etc. etc. And then I think back over the years and think, they went slow, and then I think, WHERE THE HELL DID THEY GO?

So far Jkiss solution has worked part of the time other times not. GOCOMICS PEOPLE since you have MANY PAYING MEMBERS HERE it would be nice IF YOU GAVE US A HEADS UP SO WE WOULD NOT BE SO ANGRY AND WOULD HAVE PATIENCE WHILE YOU DO YOUR “THING”!

Not that they will see this or care!
