My retired neighbor’s wife has decided he is NOT to pilot planes anymore….he now has a little robotic plane he flies out in the street in the evening!

We all are, dude.

Remember the robot dog from “Sleeper”? “My name is Rags. Bark bark.” “Is he house broken, or will he be leaving little batteries around?”

A robotic dog isn’t nearly as good as real one.

Guess what commercial is on tv right now? Yep, you guessed it. At Motel 6, we keep the light on! Tom Bodett sure has a wonderful speaking voice.

A robotic dog could never give you wet, slobbery kisses.

Fergus, dogs can never be replaced by robotic dogs. They are toys. I’d rather have a toy poodle than a robotic dog.

STELBEL, you saved the day. Whatshername is just excited about the novelty of her toy. She would never abandon Fergus.

GROG, did you know today is National Rum Day? I think I’ll celebrate with an old fashioned bit of Grog. Care to join me? :-)

DRY, you are right about robotic dogs. And thankfully, we never need to worry about robotic cats. They tried to get a robot to emulate a cat, but the prototypes either went into perpetual sleep mode, or else they crashed around in a crazy cat frenzy before shorting out, lol!

Shika, I haven’t been up on rum in a long time. I would say my 2 favorite drinks right now are a Bloody Caesar and Irish Coffee. This time year a vodka grapefruit is extremely refreshing.

Oh, and of course, BEER!

Well, I don’t think I can truly turn out the lights, because I’m currently seeing a wicked outdoor light show. Unfortunately, I missed the more intense rainfall.

But wait…we do have something brewing in the Gulf, and it could be coming this way. Oh, joy!

Hi, Shika, I’m here but not too much longer. Eventually the light show will be over.

The more intense rainfall (and lightning) was just a little to the west of me.

By Monday/Tuesday we could have more rain and destruction than we’d care to deal with if that low in the Gulf strengthens.
