The planet Venus has a stable climate and is unlikely to get warmer. That gives the fossil fuel lovers a goal to aim for. Also, it seems likely that having keys on a chain will go away just like dialing numbers on telephones did. Maybe there will be a chain for spare batteries, since our devices seem to run out of power when we most need to use them.
