Apparently, you didn’t know that I am a Lemur who loves TV and my evening snack! LOL
(PS: Yesterday, I had left CD open as a window for almost all day. When I posted last night’s picture, it never occurred to me to “REFRESH” the page, so I didn’t realize that I posted in the midst of the Saturday night party! Sorry I missed you all…!!!!!
I know I have just arrived, but I am about to take a long distance call from a person I have not heard from in over thirty years. So I may be late to the party. Or not. She is calling from B.C. I don’t know what her long distance plan is like.
i have decided that i am not going to take my sister up on her offer. i really dont want to go have pot luck thanksgiving, at her church with a bunch of people that are for all intents and purposes, strangers.i have not had thanksgiving dinner at home since pop died. and i have not enjoyed thanksgiving since then. even if its lonely, i will be happier at home.ill watch the parade, and maby a game, and stay in my home.my sister has told me she would bring me and mom some plates, and i told her some leftovers would also be nice.i like thanksgiving leftovers.even then, my respite day is the day before. im going to see if i can find a small thawed turkey, or turkey breast. and if i can, i will cook my own dinner.the way i want it. hot out of the oven. with my own leftovers.ill see what i can find Wednesday. and if i cant find anything, i still have the charity option from my sister.whats more, i am going to refuse an offer for pot luck Christmas dinner if they have one then. i would rather be alone at home, than to be with a bunch of strangers.
I hear you, Happy. I feel the same way. I’ll be doing Tur-Duc-Hen for Thanksgiving and a French Canadian Meat Pie for Christmas Eve. Now that’s my kind of food!
I suppose I’ll have to post the recipe for meat pie, but it’s made from a beef pork mix. It’s great wintertime comfort food and goes very well with very hot Cajun sauce for beef.
I don’t even know who Gary Glitter is, Number Six and I thought I knew my music. But then, I don’t want to know about Michael Jackson or George Michael, but do. Then there’s Boy George.
Of course, as the game goes to commercial break, they tease you with some great Billy Squire and come back with a tickler of some awesome Zeppelin.
happy I Don’t know what to say to you. Holidays can suck for so many people. I have a small family. I always wanted a big family, esp. being an only child, my parents are gone, any relatives I am close to, live far away, so it is the four of us now, for Christmas and Thanksgiving, and I AM SO GRATEFUL, but it is still quiet. I get to hear all the stories of my friends holiday celebrations because they have such big families and big get togethers, but my sons and us are here, together, healthy, and even if it is small, it is the most important. Look at what you have, it is ALWAYS BETTER than what some people have, and BE GRATEFUL for what you do have! Always remember that!
Fellow Baby DON’T YOU KNOW THE RULES???? NO COMPUTERS IN THE BEDROOM! Turn out your lights and GO TO SLEEP, MISTER!
I’m not always LATE, just OF late! And when I get here, there are so many comments to read, and my eyes are starting to droop, so I just skim, comment if I think I should, and get ready to shut down. I will improve, and check back in earlier one of these days soon.
NOW TURN OUT THE LIGHTS, TURN OFF YOUR COMPUTER, AND GO TO SLEEP!
Fellow Baby I mis-read that. I missed the “Most of the time” part, but anyway, I thought my comment about Motel 6 was funny, so I’ll let it stand! ROFLMAO! (As corny as those commercials are, I think that spokesman is a hoot!)
And with that, I will say goodnight. My vaycay starts Tuesday at 4:30 pm so I have work tmr, though it will be a slow day. Holiday week, hunting season starts after Thanksgiving, so we shouldn’t be all that busy. Good night Fellow Baby!
Well! I’ve never seen you blow so many raspberries Grog! Enough for a pie. ;-)Guess I will say good night, as it is late and of course, I have to get up early tomorrow.
Have a great day tomorrow Grog. Enjoy sleeping in too.
Shika, unfortunately, I’ve never seen Tur-Duc-Hen in Canada. Though I have known about it since John Madden gave up coaching for the raiders to join Pat Summerall in the broadcast booth in the NFL games. He’d always show his Thanksgiving Tur-Duc-Hen and give away turkey legs to the MVP’s of the Turkey Day game.
My first one was the year after my mother died while I was living in Dallas. It was the start of a new tradition for me.

Is this Fergus or Goalie Giuliani? To me they look an awful lot alike. I’m so confused. I thought Furgus was an Independ-a-pet…

From last night, Shika, I won’t be quitting my day job to become a stand-up comedian.
You gotta REFRESH, StelBel. There may or may not be a party going on, but there may be one or two new posts that you might want to respond to.
