My knees won’t let work on the ground like that. First thing I would do is make a raised garden plot so I could work while standing up. About three feet should do it. With decent drainage too. But working on my knees, — NO WAY!!!
Raised table beds produce double the vegetables and flowers. Shade underneathand full sun above, so that each gets its own growing requirements in one space.
