MAGAts have NO understanding of market concentration, don’t believe it even exists, and are certain it has NO effect on inflation whatsoever.

    .

It is so much easier on their analysis skills to just blame Biden and ‘his policies’. They don’t have any idea of what policies those are, but they “know” they’re bad and entirely responsible for all inflation.

Biden’s Inflation solutions have worked much better than the rest of the world. If the greedy corporations would quit price gouging, we’d be in much better shape. Profits are sky high. That is where the blame for inflation belongs.

As I understand the high cost of food throughout the world is due to Bidenomics. That is why cocoa and coffee crops have failed, not to mention the peach crop in GA and other crop failures. On top of that it caused bird flu killing millions of chickens. Also it offended the Arabs so they cut oil production 25%. That is some seriously powerful plan.

Consumer prices have actually dropped since 2022.

Don’t forget, Defendant Trump is proposing a 10% across-the-board tariff on everything imported into the country — cars, bananas, cell phones, computers, orange juice, alcohol, televisions, clothing, pharmaceuticals… — everything. He is guaranteeing that the prices YOU pay for goods will rise.

An opinion that ignores a fact is stupidity, not ignorance. Biden did not cause GLOBAL inflation, as the MAGA-GOP has argued; in truth, no president has actually caused inflation and little can be done by a president to bring it down, other than work to fix supply and demand imbalance. Except at the extreme that is called Socialism. The Biden administration did work to straighten out supply chain issues to boost supply. Ongoing inflation now remains complex (five different causes of high grocery store prices, not counting corporate greed) while other inflation is a combination of the wealthy spending freely and corporate greed.

I got a long comment to my comment on FB, him detailing trump’s accomplishments. So many outright lies. What I find annoying is the way the cowardly GQP posts some specious lie on Quora, with adding further comments disabled. Talk about snowflakes! Not surprising considering how few likes gocomics resident Trump trolls get.

Big news: you can pay $16 for a McGut McGrenade. Is this due to rising costs? McDonald’s posted a 40% increase in net profit 2023 vs. 2022.

Gasoline too expensive? Oil companies get billions in federal subsidies, and still manage to squeak by with tens of millions in profits every quarter.

Follow the money. And start compaining about the correct villains.

    From Investopedia:

    Causes of Inflation

An increase in the supply of money is the root of inflation, though this can play out through different mechanisms in the economy. A country’s money supply can be increased by the monetary authorities by:

    ● Printing and giving away more money to citizens

    ● Legally devaluing (reducing the value of) the legal tender currency

    ● Loaning new money into existence as reserve account credits through the banking system by purchasing government bonds from banks on the secondary market (the most common method)

In all of these cases, the money ends up losing its purchasing power.

Lara Trump and the rest of RNC leadership is on phones with petroleum industry executives non-stop every business day begging them to take actions to raise pump prices and goods shipping costs significantly again. Gotta stimulate price increases at gas pumps and grocery / retail store checkout stations as soon — and as high! — as they can to reverse these dropping consumer prices. Before it’s too late!
