It’s true that a century plant (agave) doesn’t need much attention. But it doesn’t even remotely look like the plant our “botanist” has labeled as such. And it’s a wold exaggeration that it only blooms once in 100 years. More like every 5 to 10 years.
Amazing that ol’ Frank has never (to the best of my knowledge) been on the receiving end of an “attitude adjustment”. There are those out there who would not react passively to his overt snarkiness.
