When I was a kid around 1950, 25 cents got me a movie. Candy and a Coke. AND we got a Roy Roger’s movie Short, The News and a Cartoon before the Movie started. Said Movie was usually inappropriate for kids.
3 bucks a car load at the drive-in……in my day.
It’s too bad OUT-DOOR theaters in the summer can’t be revived! They’re so much fun!
I just wait for the movies to come on TV! Gouging is trending, unfortunately!
And the snacks, like jewelry, are far more expensive because they are behind glass.
Sure hope it was a great movie!
And on holidays (vacations) they used to show an entire program of cartoons.
