Well, there is Easter Parade.

Yeah kid, you’d think somebody died or something.

At The Hop really about the Easter Bunny, right?

Early Sunday morning, I found an egg inside my shoe

How that sucker got there, I haven’t got a clue

Then I saw something furry

Run and jump and scurry

Must have been the Easter Bunny going on his way

There are plenty of Easter (Resurrection) hymns that could be sung as Easter Carols, such as: Jesus Christ is Risen Today, I Know That My Redeemer Lives, We Have Seen the Lord, I’m So Glad Jesus Lifted Me.

Here are some songs or hymns that could work as Christmas Carols or Easter Carols, The King of Glory (comes, the nation rejoices), There is a Redeemer (Jesus, God’s own Son), Love Has Come (a light in the darkness), and He Came Down (that we may have love).

If we’re talking secular, I remember one from Gene Autry:

Hosanna! He is risen! Go to church. There are tons of Easter carols but they’re not about bunnies.

There are quite a few Easter hymns. But Easter has not quite been taken over like Christmas has when it comes to the music.

In most parts of the country you don’t have to sing and drink just to stay warm by the time Easter rolls around. :)
