Yes.

A bacterium is the actual cause. The ticks just deliver them.

And ticks aren’t insects – they are arachnids.

The tick is the parasite, and the host.

The problem here is that the artist drew a Dear Fly instead of a Tick. Apparently, there is a common confusion that lead to the mistake (the look-alike-ness is only in people’s heads.)

and, by the way, the Dear Fly could very well be interested in what the Ticks are talking about.

Oh my god! I was wrong That wasn’t a mistake; it was on purpose. The Tick drawings on the cell phone are correct (with a pair of feet for each one behind the desk.

I must have 1/2 arachnophobia. I love to watch spiders and find them super interesting but absolutely cannot stand ticks

But on the rival app, TickTok, they’re challenging users to show the craziest place they’ve latch onto a person.
