I’ve carried a P-38 can opener on my keyring since 1976. An early example of a multi-tool, it can remove straight and Phillips screws, cut packing tape, as well as open cans.
I don’t even think I own a can opener, electric or manual. With just about any kind of can having the pop tops you really don’t need one, if I am in the situation where I need a manual one for a regular can there is a Family Dollar right across the street that I can get one. I know we had a couple manual and 1 electric in other place but they were old and didn’t work so good so I left them for ex.
