I think she’s cute. I don’t recall her though, nor the gals in the comic yesterday. 30 years and not reading BlmCty on a regular basis, I definitely missed a few characters and threads.

Short girls also get stuck with “cute”. I resented it so much when I was in my 20s. I didn’t want “cute”. I wanted “pretty”, maybe “sexy”…but being only 5’ tall, got stuck with “cute”.

I don’t remember this strip, but I do remember one with the exact same wording and layout but with Milo and the Major instead. Maybe Berke thought that one was run so early that he could re-use it again later with a slight edit. He certainly did that with his college era strips, and year one of Bloom County was not widely seen.

Just remember, you’ll always be cute to someone: your mother. You cannot escape.

… some ‘young women’ (and ‘young men’ too) are hitting puberty way too, much too early… due to their elders’ ignorant choices on how “food” is grown, fed, and processed.
