I figured out ties. When guys wear them, they press on the arteries on the sides of the neck, restricting blood flow to the brain. After a few years of that, their brains have atrophied enough that they’re management material.
I know of no item in the universe more functionally useless than the necktie.

I always kept an extra tie at the office in case of emergency.
