I wonder why dems think it’s so unreasonable that member states pay their NATO fees? Is it simply the usual TDS or the same lack-of-accountability-gene that compels them to forgive student loans?
^ You and millions of others are showing your ignorance. There are no NATO fees. There is a requirement that countries spend at least 2% of their GDP on their total defense, with no specific monetary requirement to “fund” NATO. Only about 1/3 of current members meet that.
Biggest falsehood of this toon is that portrays NATO as being a simple business that is being threatened to give a criminal money under the threat of violence. Where as NATO is actually the criminal that has been sponging off other members who pay their dues. If you don’t want to pay, get the Heck out of NATO. The FBI and its international allies disrupted a network of over 1,000 hacked internet routers that Russia’s military intelligence agency was using for cyber espionage operations against the United States and its European allies. GOP will likely try to muzzle that.
