Yesterday, I was thinking about the dogs that used to run free in the neighborhood and how I knew most of them by name and was friends with them.
Boss belonged to the folks next door. He managed to photo bomb most of our family photos taken outside. I don’t know what kind of dog he was. He looked like a cross between a terrier and a border collie.
Sloopy was a big bear of a dog. His people used to shave him down in the summer. There was a snow white collie named Jasmine. I cried when her people moved away. My dad offered to buy her, but she wasn’t for sale.
