Convincing ‘your’ party that you are the one demonstrates the possibility that you might convince the nation. And you gotta Mr. Trump, who wasn’t D or R until he was.
I’m not really enamored of Joe Biden as a candidate but realistically(that let’s you out Ted) who else does the Dems have that has the name recognition, the reputation, the accomplishments to beat traitor trump? Even with his treason, insurrection, sexual assaults, fraud, support and bowing to foreign dictators, and the rest of trumps continuous assault on Democracy itself he still has at least 40% of the voters completely convinced and another 5-10% likely to vote for him. Give me a realistic(again that let’s you out Ted) alternative to the inevitable nomination of trump as republicon candidate and I’ll consider it. Until then whatever you may think or say about Biden he is the only real shot we have at stopping trump from making himself America’s Hitler.
Awesome…………..meanwhile, back to my conversation from last week with Ted: “Russian police have put Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas, Lithuania’s culture minister, and members of the previous Latvian parliament on a wanted list for destroying Soviet-era monuments, according to the Russian interior ministry’s database.” ……………These are not the threats to former Soviet satellites that you are looking for.
I would welcome a conservative party that could actually compete with the liberals without lying. That hasn’t happened in the entire time I have been politically aware, roughly 60 years. I don’t agree with a lot of liberal ideas- abortion tops the list, and would be interested in hearing the views of an HONEST conservative party. I have never had that option and once I understand that I am being lied to, even if the person lying seems to believe what he is saying—- actually even more so if he seems to actually believe it, because that’s nuts, so I have always voted Democratic. Yeah, some of them lie, but I have never seen dishonesty in an actual Democratic party platform. The Republicans, when they bother to develop a platform base it on lies.
Hey, you Biden-haters! Look at it this way: If Biden wins in November he will be constitutionally barred from running again. If Trump wins there won’t be any constitution to bar him.

I don’t agree with a lot of liberal ideas- abortion tops the list, and would be interested in hearing the views of an HONEST conservative party. I have never had that option and once I understand that I am being lied to, even if the person lying seems to believe what he is saying—- actually even more so if he seems to actually believe it, because that’s nuts, so I have always voted Democratic. Yeah, some of them lie, but I have never seen dishonesty in an actual Democratic party platform. The Republicans, when they bother to develop a platform base it on lies.
