OMG…… this cartoon illustrates what’s going on perfectly, I mean perfectly! Three years of open borders under Biden and now is the Republicans fault if they won’t swallow this sh!t bill that solves nothing.

GOP doesn’t want any new security deal; it might make things better and they don’t want any improvement.

Republicans demanded something be done about the border. Republicans led the effort and came up with a border Bill that is more conservative than anything that could be achieved in the House. The conservative Border Officers Union supported the bBill. President Biden said he would sign the Bill into law…

    Then Trump destroyed the deal

Senator Lankford, a stalwart conservative from Oklahoma who oversaw the writing of the Bill, could do nothing but see his Republican colleagues castigate the Bill and him on national television. Trump, who endorsed Lankford for his election, lied about the Senator by saying he never supported him and said he was a traitor. Now, a good Senator’s career is in jeopardy because of Trump.

The whole country watched this unfold. No amount of spin by our conservative friends posting here will change the truth. Republicans are cowards and deserve nothing but contempt from the people of the United States. The Republicans demanded a new border law, then destroyed their own creation because they serve Trump, not the people.

The Senate has voted and Chucky Chesse Schumer will now separate foreign aide from the border related portion of the bill as it should have all along. This eliminates on objection to the bill. All bills introduced in the Congress should be single subject bills.

Oh my, poor republicans. It was Democrats who insisted that the border be fixed before any aid to our allies would be considered. It was Democrats that forced themselves to swallow immigration restrictions that they wouldn’t agree to ordinarily. And it was Democrats who switched gears after months long negotiations where they conceded ground to get an important national security issue funded.

Yep, in MAGA world when they f*ck it up, it’s the Democrats fault.

Trump’s traitor Trtumpublicans decided to keep the boarder open so Dems would look bad. Why is it that the lying republicans reject the bi partisan bill but the dems get the blame? Traitor Trump clearly told Mike Johnson to reject the bill to keep the USA in chaos. Stop voting for Putin loving republicans who hate the USA.

’Can’t govern’: Dems salivate as Trump-led GOP ‘shot themselves in the foot’ all week

Democratic operatives are telling Semafor that their Republican opponents this week have given them plenty of fodder to use in campaigns later this year with a series of votes that failed on the floor of the House of Representatives.

How can anyone think the Democrats are trying to force the bill down the throats of Republicans when it is a bill authored by Republicans?

This was a bi-partisan bill endorsed by both sides until Trump killed it. No getting around that. This cartoon is completely disingenuous.

Revive HR-2: Secure the Border Act, the Republican proposal that strengthens the border not weaken its the Senate Bill would have done.

Our entire Border Patrol should walk off the job in protest to the republican insanity in our Congress.

“… WASHINGTON (AP) — Wartime aid for Ukraine was left hanging in the Senate Wednesday after Republicans blocked a bipartisan border package that had been tied to the funding, then struggled to coalesce around a plan to salvage the aid for Kyiv.

After GOP senators scuttled months of negotiations with Democrats on legislation intended to cut back record numbers of illegal border crossings, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer tried to push ahead to a crucial test vote on a $95 billion package for Ukraine, Israel and other U.S. allies — a modified package with the border portion stripped out.

But a deeply divided Republican conference was scrambling to find support for the wartime funding, even though it has been a top priority for Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell. It was the latest sign of the longtime Republican leader’s slipping control over his conference and underscored how the traditional GOP tenet of robust foreign involvement is giving way to Donald Trump’s “America First” nationalism. At stake is the future of Ukraine’s defense against Russia. …" — Apnews.Com/article/congress-ukraine-aid-border-security-386dcc54b29a5491f8bd87b727a284f8

Sorry. No more complaining about “open borders.” The Democrats just handed you darn near everything you asked for and now you’re caving to the guy who’s afraid that’s all he has to offer the people. And when the Democrats win all three branches of government in November, you’ll get a darn sight less.

Who said you have to convince the media? They are apart of the whole thing. Sometimes I think the media tells them what to say.

Short memories – it’s deja vu all over again. Republicans say they want a solution, they make demands, the dems knuckle under and give them everything they want just because they believe bipartisan is better than nothing at all, then the GOP does a Lucy on Charlie Brown and pulls the football away and say they won’t go forward with it at all. Impeachment, Jan 6 Committee, Placing Judges on the Supreme Court, the list is endless. Not just McCarthy, Moscow MItch and the dumpster but it’s getting really old really fast. For all you Maga wanta be’s, when you are interviewed by the Daily Show it does you no (Know) good. Shows a lack of credibility and bias (By A-S-S) thinking that hate of something is your only fallback. Doing a religious ceremony to a golden idol of dumpster with MTG your high priestess is pretty lame. Go and watch the 10 commandments (assuming you can’t read) and see what happens with the golden calf. The difference is you want to take the rest of the country down in the pit with you. We aren’t buying it anymore. My kids deserve better.

So, it has republican’s input, the same people that keeps yelling the lie that the ‘’Border is wide open’’ encouraging people to come here. Republicans have never found a problem they couldn’t make worse.
