I only wish that there were more young people like her, willing to stand up for what she believes in, wants to get involved and wants to take responsibility. Us baby boomers are checking out on a pretty regular basis, most of the issues don’t affect us, they do affect the younger people immensely. What is the big problem with Swift getting involved in supporting her guy and telling her fans to get involved? I think she’s a great lady who’s worked really hard to get where she’s at. And – All people should be worried about any one person, old, young, white, nonwhite, man, woman, it, telling us what we can and cannot do!
The basic “problem” the “Make America Great Again” folks have with the young lady in question is NOT that she dares to hold opinions (though that DOES rankle in certain quarters), it that she holds “opinions” contrary to theirs.
Most M.A.G.A.(ts) are “open minded” enough to allow opinions as long as they do NOT differ appreciably from their own – although the (barefoot and pregnant) contingent would have issue even with that!
