McConnell nailed it when he said the Republicans sabotaged the Border bill because Trump wants to run on the border issue. So the ONLY reason the Republicans won’t do anything about the border now is because Trump.
The bill will pass the senate ok, with the (admittedly, very slim) Democrat majority. In the house, all it needs is a few Republicans to stand up and realize their job is to do what’s best for the country, not just what tRump wants. Together with the Democrat caucus, that will be enough.
