If her head weren’t four times the size it should be for her body, her weight would be a lot less.

That’s a curious arrangement for the scales, and extra work to use it/them.

I like the little storage cubbyhole for the scale with the waste basket on top. Should imply that using the scale is a w-a-s-t-e of time.

She thought that she would have lost weight after a little exercise with Hubby.

That’s not fun, kids, that’s something we adults call “sarcasm.”

You know, in real life it would not be any big deal. Hammie is so young that probably his parents would not care if he saw his mother in her underwear, and the other two are girls anyway.

That’s why I don’t get on scales. They lie.

Should I assume there is a “touch” of sarcasm in what she is saying?

Wanda is very tiny. It doesn’t look to me like she has a weight problem to be concerned about!

Dad is right kids.For me only time I get weighed at Dr.’s office, at home no scales, me I already know it is a battle I fight every day on weight. Portion size on food does matter, with weather warming up in February be great for walking. I have exercise equipment not ready for.

Wanda looks fabulous! It’s true, she does not have her “before babies belly”, but having kids and hormones changes our figures, whether we like it or not. Plus, muscle weighs more, and she’s got to have muscles from toting around all those kids and all their stuff. Babies, baby carriers, and baby bags get heavy! Wanda has a good sense of self, but it’s normal to wish we could fit back in our “skinny jeans”, which often has more to do with dreaming of our younger selves and younger lives than the physical aspect of it all.

Panel 1 deceived me. I thought it was going to be one of those “Dialogue that sounds like something lewd is happening but is actually completely innocent” type of comics.
