I guess a lot of people forget that Jesus was a Jew and a Palestinian too!

It is to the advantage of those governments, and some others, to have Palestinians in perpetual refugee status.

This cartoon is a crock. There was no such thing as a Palestinian. There is plenty of room for them in Gaza, all they have to do to enjoy it is to put their weapons down and release the hostages.

If the Palestinians and their cause have been “dumped” by Egypt and various other Arab countries over the years, while Israel has little by little proven its worth to these same countries, it might be because the Palestinians have constantly shown absolutely NO DESIRE OR CAPACITY TO MAKE CONCESSIONS.Which means that they will be problematic for everyone.

1.2+ million Palestinians live in Israel. Only Jordan has more.

Why should Palestinians go to Egypt? It’s not their homeland.

The right-most sign should say “Palestine Inn” with the word “Palestine” crossed out.

The middle building should be rubble, as Israel is working diligently to make it uninhabitable (until illegal settlers start building on top of Palestinian graves).

Let’s set the record straight. Jesus was a Galilean Jew, not a Palestinian Muslim. He celebrated Passover, not Ramadan, and he was called “Rabbi” not “Imam.” His followers were named Yaakov and Yochanan and Yehudah, not Muhammad and Abdullah and Khalid. And he himself had one of the most common Jewish names of the day: Yeshua.

As for the name “Palestine,” it was not used in any widespread way to describe the land of Israel until 135 AD – in other words, more than 100 years after Yeshua’s death and resurrection. And it was renamed Palestine by the Romans to mock the Jewish people, thereby calling their ancient (and sacred) homeland the land of the Philistines.

But it is not only anachronistic to label Jesus a Palestinian. It is also misleading.

That’s because the word “Palestinian” today speaks of non-Israelites, of non-Jews. It speaks of a people who claim that the land of Israel belongs to them, not to the Jewish people. And it speaks primarily of Muslims. >

Can’t much blame the surrounding nations for not wanting to take in thousands of homeless refugees that have nothing but the clothes on their backs. They have their own homeless to worry about, if they worry at all.

The very sad reality is that there are just too many people trying to survive in that part of the world. Israel (with America’s wink and a nod) keeps expanding while squeezing/stealing it’s neighbours land and resources.

Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia — no room. Behave and some rooms may open up at the Grand Hotel Negev.
