Larry Hagman played J.R. in Dallas, and people thought that the personality he had on the show was how he really was, and they actually crossed the street to avoid him when they saw him coming. They seem to have completely forgotten that he had a completely different personality in I Dream of Jeannie.
“Friends” was popular because Jennifer wore bras that didn’t have much padding and many times the high beams were on. I watched it occasionally, they were in NYC and the majority of the cast was white.
