It’s a see-saw game that has been going on for decades now. At least, Labor gets to be up for a while before inflation and tax breaks for the rich brings the balance beam back in the other direction again. For centuries, Labor was NEVER up.

It’s a wonder sometimes that anyone ever get ahead when the top 2% has so much control of the money.

We are not politicians or public thinkers; we are the rich; we own America; we got it, God knows how, but we intend to keep it if we can by throwing all the tremendous weight of our support, our influence, our money, our political connections, our purchased Senators, our hungry Congressmen, our public-speaking demagogues into the scale against any legislature, any political platform, any presidential campaign that threatens the integrity of our estate. —Frederick Townsend Martin 1888

The real crime here is that most of these multi-billionaires KNOW that a big crash is coming, sooner or later. Get it while you can, as much as you can. Too much is never enough! But these guys/families have most of their money in the Cayman’s, Luxembourg, Malta, Ireland and other havens, out of reach. And they are still pushing congress to cut funds to the IRS to keep them at bay. And, any industries that they still own in the USA will get bailed out by the very congress they “invested” so much in!
