Once upon a time many newspapers had a Labor Section as a counterpoint to the Business Section. Of course, that was when they operated in the public interest as opposed to now where they only exist to pay off the massive debt the owner ran up to buy the newspaper.

Things are not as bad as many claim. Doesn’t Biden tell us how great things are for workers? Wages up. Unemployment down. Equity slime everywhere.

So why does the left complain? Things are great.

Most entertainment TV is boss/investor oriented. The characters are almost always better off than average. The duty of consumption is a big subtext.

Buy lots of books about economics stuff you have NO intention of following. (At least you’ll have an idea about why people are doing such silly things.)

How many working people would be willing to be non-stenographic reporters as a second job? I’m presuming there’d be no corporate money to pay salaries to reporters for such a channel.

And how would such a channel differ to, let’s say, and >
