The prosecutor Weiss and the judge were both appointed by Trump. Joe Biden retained Weiss to avoid even a whiff of impropriety. This case has been going on for several years, starting when Trump still occupied the White House. Why did it take until the plea deal actually was to be finalized to “discover” there were issues?

The blanket immunity for anything is problematic and I can see why there is a question about that. But again, why did this take until this week to be discovered?

The gun charge is seldom enforced because of someone taking drugs, IMO it was added specifically because this involved Hunter Biden.

Have you ever looked at the various states’ delinquent taxpayer’s lists? Why haven’t they been prosecuted? From the amount I have seen, biden wouldn’t make the top 200 list in most states; he owed around $200,000 plus penalties which he paid in 2021. Hell if the delinquent taxes were paid we would not have city, state and most likely federal deficits FYI federal employees owe a total of $3.3 billion in back taxes; the non-payment rate for employees of the House of Representatives is 4.87%. In the Senate, it’s 3.24%. That’s 714 tax delinquents on Capitol Hill owing a total of $8.6 million

Justice is very stupid. It is very seldom something the most deserving get because of who administers it.

He didn’t file tax returns two years. He filed, paid the taxes, paid the penalties, paid the interest on both. Done. Charging him with anything related to taxes is pure politics.

Short version of Hunters Day in court. 1) He had a sweetheart deal and was set to plead guilty to a couple of lesser crimes. 2) The deal said that all crimes, both known now, and other crimes committed in the past that could be prosecuted in the future would all fall under this blanket deal. 3) The judge simply asked the prosecutor “Are there now other crimes being investigated”? Answer yes. 4) Judge said "I’ve never seen a deal like this. Everything fell apart because the serious charge of Foreign Agents Registration Act, aka FARA. This has to do with Hunters (and Joes) business deals with Ukraina and China. This is what they got Paul Manafort with as well as Michael Flynn.

The tRump appointed judge’s pausing of the plea agreement was to protect Hunter Biden’s rights. While he may have broken the law, Biden did nothing to go to jail for. Fines and probation are the norm for his violations.

Justice is investigating actions to determine facts. MAGA-GOP is investigating people to see if they can find any actions. Last name not Biden we would never know about any of this.
