Very classic feel to this one, even the treehouse is present! Don’t think this kind of arc has happened, plus it’s interesting at least! Good to see some Francis too!
8\10, really dig that punchline, Nate’s too fixated to try
With Randy still being a mean bully in the comic and the show, seems like the chances of him and Nate becoming friends like at the end of Big Nate Blasts Off are long gone. SAD
And what he’s parodying – “Hate the sin, love the sinner” – isn’t in the Bible, either. It’s a cliche conservative evangelicals use so they can have an excuse to hate the sinner.
“hate the sin, love the sinner” isn’t Biblical, but a great way to tell people not to judge others because they’re different from you. From the gospel of Matthew: “Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?” Jesus said to him, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. The second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the law and the prophets depend on these two commandments.”
I don’t recall Francis or Nate having a tree house and why are they up there peirce usually shows like a conversation before something like this happens and what’s with the fake Bible verse

Randy’s parents home insurance likely went up 3x if not cancelled, claims on an 11 year old breaking his neck are high, worst than drowning in a pool.
