Texas Governor Greg Abbott has literally ordered his troops to PUSH MIGRANTS, including children, including babies, back into the Rio Grande. Many are already fatigued from having crossed, and would drown. Many cannot swim without being carried by their parents. This is genocide.
Illegal entry into the United States is a misdemeanor. It cannot be permitted (nor does the Biden administration allow it, contrary to lies of those who claim otherwise), but illegal entry does not merit the death penalty.
Merrick Garland’s Department of Justice has filed a lawsuit against Greg Abbott.
A lawsuit? Seriously? For goddess sake, why doesn’t the Biden administration stop acting like impotent babies? Biden should immediately order Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) to simply go out and remove the barriers. Just take them out.
The Constitution gives the United States Federal Government the sole and unique jurisdiction order the border (states can cooperate in such matters with the Feds, but only at their invitation and under their direction). JUST DO IT. Don’t file a lawsuit and wait for a court while children and babies are being pushed back into the river against an ILLEGAL BARRIER of buoys ordered by a state governor who has no authority to do so. JUST DO IT NOW.
And if Greg Abbott thinks he can persuade a federal judge that he has such anti-constitutional authority, let him be the one to file a lawsuit.
Those fresh-water sharks are as rare as skinny Texas State Troopers. And hard to handle to boot. And heck, the buoys are almost as deadly to those illegal migrants. Though it is kinda sad about how it’s cut into the tour-boat business.
Abbott’s game is to demonstrate the White Male “Christian” power of life and death over brown people. Border control more like a sadists’ buffet of brutal delights than humane rule of law. Of course, the strong who survive the crossing can become essentially mute servants, valuable for conservative employers to increase profits. Texass, honoring the concept of the “Lone Slave State”.
It’s going to be OK. Here in Florida the new DeSantis $350 million Woke Warrior army is going to arrest immigrants in Texas and then coerce them into flying to Biden’s house in Delaware.

Our borders have gates. Use them. Those who don’t are illegals and denied entry, period. Hire enough agents to deal with the legals and illegals.
