For folks who weren’t around back then, this is a tribute to C. W. McCall [real name William Dale Fries Jr.] who recorded the novelty song “Convoy” that was a surprise hit in 1976, reaching number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It was also a pop culture milestone in kickstarting the CB [Citizens Band] radio craze which swept the country and had a large part of the American population saying “What’s your twenty?”. He sadly passed away last year at the age of 95.
I have surfed the web. I have flipped through countless messages and images. Too much is mindless foolishness. But the thing I appreciate the most is… reference. To give credit to the original artist.

I remember hearing that for the first time as a teen. Had to go out and immediately buy a CB radio.
