I used to work for a medical college, and told women that. They would assume I was a doctor or studying to be one. When they found out I only did IT work, they would become irrationally angry. One went so far as to fling every glass, mug, and plate I owned at me, telling me to get out of my own apartment. I had to call the police and have her hauled away. She was so mad that I wasn’t going to be arrested for fraud, she fought the responding officer and ended up biting him twice before he tasered her. Good times.
