Wow! I’m not that methodical about anything, yet I still find this completely relatable.

The generations have different priorities.

South Korean skin care optimally has ten steps, and Japan has seven, IIRC.

I’ve worked and in several cases lived in Muslim countries. Many years ago I worked with a guy from Malaysia. I was very surprised to find out that he and his family took the edict to only read the Quran in Arabic very literally. They could pronounce what was written, but had no idea what it meant.

I have been baffled by the dedication some show to what others see as trivial pursuits (e.g. tirelessly falling off the skateboard until they’re good at performing on it). I imagined one friend’s parents thinking, if only he studied Torah as reverently as he pored over every word uttered by Monty Python and committed it all to memory.

There is no god(s) so why would bother memorizing a book of fairy tells especial one dictated by a 7th century illiterate unwashed psychotic cave dwelling pedophile.

I have a zero-step face cleaning plan. I don’t even wash my face. I’m told I have beautiful skin, whoopee, but at least I don’t have to spend any time on my face. Don’t wear makeup either…
