Because women insisted on being treated the same as men, Cathy, which means that the rules for dating have changed because the playing field is supposed to be even now. Why should men still be required to make the first move in the relationship? Isn’t it just a little sexist of you to expect Irving to ask YOU out on a date in order to get your relationship back on track?

If you give em what they want they’re unhappy. Don’t give what they want they’re unhappy. Can’t live with them and you can’t live with them.

I agree, A S. Don’t be so grumpy and bitter, guys. My take on it is that Cathy is pushing something that doesn’t look like it’s there. In usual Cathy fashion, she is misreading things and maybe he’s not that into her. Sure, we know that she eventually marries him, but it sure was a long, rocky road to get there. It shouldn’t be that hard to have a loving relationship.Good morning, Cathy nuts including Aaron & Susan! Hello to everyone else that comes later in the day, like GsMom, Billy and KFG! KFG don’t forget to check yesterday’s comments. Still shaking my head. Gotta love the guy though. He’s now in the decision-making stage to see if he’ll do the surgery. It’ll be on Monday if he says yes. Lots of downtime though afterward. He’ll be staying out there through the weekend. (I hate home-alone).

Cathy must have forgotten what it’s like in the first days and weeks after bringing a new dog into your heart and home. Everything and everyone else are easily forgotten!!!!! ;-)

As you can probably tell by my chocolate cake avatar, it’s my birthday today. Wish I were about 10 years younger but it’s better than the alternative! ;-)

By the way, thank you to all of you normal people who posted this afternoon. I was getting annoyed with the ones who posted early. I wanted to respond, but I knew I shouldn’t so I’ll respond to you all instead… :-)Wow, Aaron must be feeling in fine form with his response to KFG’s hilarious joke yesterday. LOL! With all of that, I need to try and “ketchup”. ;-)@Billy – Thanks for the update on Aaron. Let us know what he decides. I would think it would be an easy decision, but maybe there are factors like risk and recovery. Either way, I’m sure it’ll all end up fine.
