As usual, you see a hate filled cartoon like this and wonder what’s going on. So you look up the case to see just what the facts are in case some liberal is publishing a lie to fit their ideological goals.
Per the NBC story, the doctor was fined $3000 and given a reprimand. Did not lose her license. They found she failed to report a case of possible child abuse and violated patient privacy by talking to a reporter about the patient in violation of HIPAA privacy laws.
So it was hardly persecution and had nothing to do with the performance of an abortion on a 10 year old. Just another liberal lying cartoon.
Jeff Danziger is providing us with yet another example of how far the religious will go in protecting their biblically inspired understanding of Abortion.

I really despise anyone who says a child asks for it. No one asks for violence to be done to them. Believe me, sexual assault is a particularly heinous type of violence.
This may be hard for some people so fair warning. When I was 11 my father started molesting me. At the time I was 5’6" and had started my period. I was a 36B in the top area. I was repeated thought to be much older than I was. That wouldn’t have mattered to him. He started on my sister (his step-daughter) when she was 4. It happened once and then he got scared and stopped. Then a few years later I came along. My sister watched him constantly. Then when I when I was 10 she got married (she was much older than me) and moved out of the country. Pedophiles usually have an age preference i.e. young children versus preteens etc. The evil that was my father didn’t care. Once my sister was he started on me. I was so clueless that the first p+rno book he showed me had the man finishing with white stuff I asked him why was he peeing on her. No, I have no idea why equated the two in my mind. I knew about the basics from having dogs. Of course that made me think that women got pregnant on their periods like dogs in heat. Thankfully I found a book that explained all of this stuff. It was part on the encyclopedia set my folks had bought in 1969. Anyway when he started on my I was more than physically able to safely have a child by the monster. I got REALLY good at oral so he would prefer that. This went on for three years until I told someone outside of the family. That one didn’t do anything, someone else overheard and called the cops. My father fled the state that next day. He needn’t have bothered. The abuse happened in three states. By that time we were living in Oklahoma. The D.A. said it was my word against his. I say all of this because these people who want abortion illegal should have to experience even a day of what I endured. A 12 year old should not know how to do what I could. They are nearly as evil as the b-stard.

Indiana doesn’t deserve to have physicians like Dr. Bernard, but everyday Hoosiers certainly deserve better politicians than they are saddled with.
Sadly they only have themselves to blame, because they keep electing these clowns.

There was a great effort to hunt the victim down, identity her and vilify her. But whoever raped her sure gets his privacy protected.
