Even worse were those two level outhouses. My memories of outhouses are ones of fear. One, I had to walk through the turkeys everytime I had to use it – they were a mean bunch, Mr Grinch! and two, the fear of losing anything, including me, down that hole into that mush! And those holes were big, and I mean big! I should go back to that farm and dig where that little house was – I bet I could I could find a few of my metal cars!
