Ethics and pretty words only last until it is time to put your money where your mouth is. Liberals are great about sounding like they care but when they actually have to DO something besides tell the government to do something? Things change!

For years leftists have virtue signaled with their “sanctuary city” status and sported bumper stickers on their $75,000 EVs that “No human is illegal.” Now that Biden put out a 1952 mile long welcome mat to the world, some leftists are experiencing the reality of their sanctuary cities.

It amazes me how such falsehoods have become opinions. Cartoonists are supposed to opine on reality, not on fantasy. Worse are those who believe such nonsense and refuse to face that reality.

Sanctuary city: (in North America) a city whose municipal laws tend to protect undocumented immigrants from deportation or prosecution, despite federal immigration law. Nothing more, nothing less.

Address the fact that the U.S. has far too many people incarcerated and that prisons have been privatized; these private corporations demand a certain number of inmates rather than working to rehabilitate people/

Universal health care is cheaper with better results. Insurance companies refuse to cover preventive and then when people get to Medicare, the costs are much higher. Mortality rates in pregnancy are far too high.

Replace the support that Trump removed that was combating crime in the Central American countries. The U.S. supported RW dictators claiming it was about the Cold War, but much of it was to support U.S. businesses.

The Navy had a commercial a few years ago that bragged about their protection of ocean shipments. So companies eliminated U.S. jobs while asking the taxpayers to foot the bill.

So they get outraged over the lie that vets are being evicted in favour of immigrants… but are perfectly OK with risking collapsing the economy in a default unless the Dems agree to actually cut spending on vets’ programs? Hypocrites much?

The humor is that there seems to be so many tractables in the republican ranks, when their delusions are stultified will they turn on their masters and demand the rights they helped to deny others? Or will their anger turn destructive and they start hunting the so called privileged that are supporting the political puppets at the expense of the U.S. Republic?

From the George W Bush Institute: “Immigration fuels the economy. When immigrants enter the labor force, they increase the productive capacity of the economy and raise GDP. Their incomes rise, but so do those of natives. It’s a phenomenon dubbed the “immigration surplus,” and while a small share of additional GDP accrues to natives — typically 0.2 to 0.4 percent — it still amounts to $36 to $72 billion per year.”

More than 1.5 million illegal migrants have slipped into the US since Joe Biden took office — more than three times the number recorded during the last three years of Trump’s presidency, Department of Homeland Security data shows.

A staggering 530,000 so called ‘gotaways’ — illegal immigrants known to have entered the country but not been caught — have been recorded since last October, according to US Border Patrol.

The number is set to beat 2022’s record figure of 600,000 gotaways and the 389,000 people Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas admitted had made their way into the country undetected in 2021.

Those numbers are much higher than the estimated 415,000 total gotaways DHS recorded for 2018, 2019 and 2020 while Trump was then president.

The DHS data covers the agency’s financial year, which runs from October — meaning there are still four months before the 2023 figures will be complete.

Last week saw a huge rush on ports of entry with the end of pandemic era-restriction Title 42, leaving Customs and Border Protection apprehending over 10,000 people a day from Monday to Wednesday – the highest single day totals it has ever recorded.

At the end of the week Mexican officials warned there were still over 26,000 people in border towns on the Mexican side waiting to cross into the US.

Although Biden has said he is establishing tough new rules and sending more people away from the border, Texas law enforcement sources told The Post migrants who have left their homelands and traveled to the border will likely turn to illegal entry and smugglers to make it over. – NYP

They aren’t all fleeing from violence… But we take them all and those who won’t lose their jobs to illegals will be working into their 90’s to pay for it all.

Gordon Chang, author of The Coming Collapse of China, a Gatestone Institute distinguished senior fellow, and a member of its advisory board, believes many young Chinese migrants are fleeing China due to a lack of hope for their future in the country, he told the DCNF.

“Right now in China there’s extreme pessimism, especially among people in their 20s about the future of their country, so it’s understandable that they’re leaving and they’re trying to get into the United States. And, you know, these are people who are relatively middle class, so it shows you the problems in Chinese society are severe. And that to me, suggests that this is going to get worse because these numbers are staggering.”

Most of the Chinese migrants encountered by Border Patrol so far in fiscal year 2023 are single adults, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) data. Legitimate asylum claims must be based on persecution due to religious affiliation, membership in a social group, race, nationality and political party affiliation.

It’s also possible that some Chinese migrants are nefarious actors, Chang said.

“When I first saw that the surge in Chinese migrants, that’s the thought that came to my mind that these are either Ministry of State Security agents or Chinese military, who are coming to this country to commit acts of sabotage against the US,” Chang said. – Daily Caller

‘It’s Bullsh*t’: Former, Current Border Officials Slam Biden Admin For Touting Success Of Illegal Immigration Policies

The Biden administration increased the number of appointments available each day for legal entry via the CBP One process to 1,000 earlier this month. This is part of “a shell game” to claim migrant encounters are down while allowing more entrances at legal ports of entry, former U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) acting Commissioner Mark Morgan told the DCNF.

    “It’s bullsh*t,” Morgan said.

“We’re still in the middle of the worst self-inflicted border security crisis in our lifetime, and they’re trying to claim victory,” Morgan added.

Border authorities aren’t turning away any migrants using the CBP One phone app, one of the Biden administration’s legal pathways, to claim asylum at ports of entry, DHS immigration official Blas Nunez Neto told reporters on a phone call Wednesday.

    This is one expensive nothingburger…

The Fiscal Burden of Illegal Immigration on United States Taxpayers | 2023 Cost Study

At the start of 2023, the net cost of illegal immigration for the United States – at the federal, state, and local levels – was at least $150.7 billion.

FAIR arrived at this number by subtracting the tax revenue paid by illegal aliens – just under $32 billion – from the gross negative economic impact of illegal immigration, $182 billion.

In 2017, the estimated net cost of illegal migration was approximately $116 billion. In just 5 years, the cost to Americans has increased by nearly $35 billion.

Illegal immigration costs each American taxpayer $1,156 per year ($957 after factoring in taxes paid by illegal aliens).

Each illegal alien or U.S.-born child of illegal aliens costs the U.S. $8,776 annually.

Evidence shows that tax payments by illegal aliens cover only around a sixth of the costs they create at all levels in this country.

A large percentage of illegal aliens who work in the underground economy frequently avoid paying any income tax at all.

Many illegal aliens actually receive a net cash profit through refundable tax credit programs. – FAIR Research

Part of the libby, lefty craziness that our tax dollars are used for:

Carrillo-Lopez is a citizen of Mexico. He was removed from the United States twice, once in 1999 and once in 2012. Before his removal in 2012, he was convicted of felony drug possession and misdemeanor infliction of corporal injury on a spouse. On some date after 2012, he reentered the United States. On June 13, 2019, a search of his residence uncovered two firearms and plastic bags containing methamphetamine, cocaine, and heroin. Carrillo-Lopez was arrested and subsequently pleaded guilty to a single count of trafficking a controlled substance. On June 25, 2020, he was indicted for illegal reentry following prior removal, in violation of 8 U.S.C. § 1326(a), and subject to enhanced penalties under § 1326(b) due to his prior convictions.

In 2021, Judge Miranda Du dismissed charges against Gustavo Carrillo-Lopez because the law violated the 5th Amendment, and was racist in origin.

On Monday, the United States 9th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in favor of the US Government, reversing a Nevada federal judge’s determination that criminalization of reentry after deportation was based on racist animus against Latinos. If the ruling held, the ability to prosecute for illegal reentry after removal from the US would be revoked in the 10 states subject to the 9th Circuit jurisdiction, including California, Nevada, and Arizona. The appeal was argued in Pasadena, CA, in December of 2022. – Red State

New York Judge Blocks Eric Adams Busing Illegals to Red CountyA New York judge has sided with a county executive seeking to stop NYC Mayor Eric Adams from inflicting his sanctuary city problems on nearby red counties.by NATIONAL FILE NEWS

Orange County is a bucolic red county in New York’s Hudson Valley, famous for being the home of West Point. About an hour and a half north of New York City, Eric Adams made Orange County a target of his for the relocation of illegals.

Adams had already bussed 186 illegals into Orange County and intends to send more into Orange as well as other Hudson Valley Counties. Orange County Executive Stephen Neuhaus (R-Chester) responded to the influx of illegals by issuing a state of emergency and filing a lawsuit against the Adams administration stopping them from sending the illegals to Orange County.

Today a judge approved Neuhaus’ lawsuit putting a restraining order on Adams from sending the illegals to Orange County. Neuhaus, a conservative veteran has consistently been a fighter for the Hudson Valley and has stood up for Orange County on numerous occasions

This comes after a hotel in Newburgh kicked out American veterans and American customers to make room for the illegal aliens, creating a national scandal.

This report was authored by Adam Danberg. Adam is a reporter based in the Hudson Valley of New York. He is involved in local politics and is an avid history buff dedicated to saving New York.
