While the GQP wants to claim the label “patriot” for themselves, never forget who it was that called veterans “loser and suckers”, who couldn’t be bothered with going to a memorial for our WWI dead because it was raining, who attacked gold star family members and who committed sedition against our country by provoking an insurrection and assault against our capital. The same party also used “blue lives matter” flags to attack and beat the police they claimed to support on January 6th.

Let’s be real clear. Almost all benefits veterans get were hard fought for by Democrats. Republicans almost always vote against legislation supporting veteran’s benefits.
What I think is that you all missed the boat on this one. Though early, maybe it’s just a toon for Memorial Day. Y’know, the flame of liberty kept lit by the ultimate sacrifice of some of our service people?
For all his faults, Mr. T built up the military. Unlike Mr. Biden he didn’t leave all of that military equipment sitting on the tarmac in Afghanistan to build up the wrong army.
Anyone here ever read Eisenhower’s parting address, warning of the military industrial complex? Claudio? Try reading something that is true and verified what a president has said. Fair warning, its more than one sentence in bold quotations.
