My Gracie used to be a prolific terminator of flies. Then one day she swallowed a moth. She made the worst face, then looked at me in disgust as if it were my fault. Now the flies roam freely in my house.

I think someone forgot to proofread todays comic. ‘Paws of lighting’?

The fly is definitely a goner.

My late, lamented Freya’s first kill at six months was a moth. She yelled at it to come down here, and it did. Dumb. She smacked it around, and I got it and flushed it so she wouldn’t have moth breath. She got a treat for her efforts.

Monroe likes to hunt bugs. Currently, his and Achilles’ favorite toy is a hexabug. It’s a small plastic and silicone toy that crawls randomly when you turn it on. It’s fun to see them stalk it, taking turns.

My two still like to hunt their sky raisins.

My cat catches flies in her mouth. She’s that fast.
