I am also surprised that he would attack Christian (read Conservative) Universities. I mean, he’s right, this is the playbook of the right wing, I just didn’t expect him to call attention to it.

The kid is overdressed, seeing as it’s Florida.

Not to worry: there’s a House committee dedicated to getting rid of weaponization of government. I’m sure they’ll take care of it.

Intelligent students won’t vote for republicans so republicans will stop them from voting.

Laws enacted in Idaho this year, for instance, prohibit the use of student IDs to register to vote or cast ballots. A new law in Ohio, in effect for the first time in Tuesday’s primary elections, requires voters to present government-authorized photo ID at the polls, but student IDs are not included. Identification issued by universities has not traditionally been accepted to vote in the Buckeye State, but the new law eliminates the use of utility bills, bank statements and other documents that students have used before.

A proposal in Texas would eliminate all campus polling places in the state. Meanwhile, officials in Montana – where Democrat Jon Tester is seeking a fourth term in one of 2024’s highest-profile Senate contests – have appealed a court decision striking down additional document requirements for those using student IDs to vote.

And voting rights advocates say a longstanding statute in Georgia, which bars the use of student IDs from private universities, has made it more difficult for students at several schools – including Spelman and Morehouse, storied HBCUs in Atlanta – to participate in Georgia’s competitive US Senate and presidential elections.

Trump Ally Says Key to Republicans Winning Elections Is to Stop College Kids From Voting

In a presentation delivered at a Republican National Committee donor retreat in Nashville on Saturday, Cleta Mitchell, who tried her hardest to help Donald Trump overturn the election in 2020, said that Republicans must work together to limit voting on college campuses, according to The Washington Post. “What are these college campus locations?” she asked, according to audio of the event obtained by the Post. “What is this young people effort that they do? They basically put the polling place next to the student dorm so they just have to roll out of bed, vote, and go back to bed.”

Right wingers are trying hard to infiltrate all institutes of higher learning to establish their indoctrinating brand of “free (hate) speech”. The bastions of freethinking are not so quick to accept that narrow minded idiocracy. Teach students to learn with an open mind and you have them forever

    U. Shutup. Isn’t that any university in CA, especially Berkeley where if you want to speak they will attack you both shouting and physically. Doesn’t sound like they want to hear the other’s views since they don’t want to be confused by the facts.

ONe thing I learned at Penn State was to question authority. It took years, but it also included the Catholic hierarchy after nearly twelve years of Catholic school. I still practice, but with a critical eye. It has been quite liberating.

Any conservative speaker can vouch for this comic. Liberals – Control the speech of others, otherwise it’s “Cancel Culture” time.

One of two honest things Trump said while president: “If everyone gets to vote, Republicans lose.”

Brainwashed students indoctrinated with Marxist ideology vote Democrat. The teacher’s union put teachers and wokeism first and students at the bottom. When voting for your school board, take a hard look at the candidates and make sure they are more interested in children’s education over wokeism, teacher union agendas and left wing ideology.
