Yeeaah, we tried that. Didn’t like it. Now it’s gonna take forever to clean all the mess up. ><

Butterflies and raccoons. You probably won’t see those in a yard with nothing but grass on it.

My back yard, front yard, and all the rest around our house is forest. No need to go camping.

my backyard was planted w/birds, bees & butterflies in mind.. I’ve let it ‘go’ to a certain extent and it’s very popular with the native birds… butterflies come in waves and I have bees all the time for my fruit trees.. win-win

We planted our backyard like VickiP123’s. Birds, butterflies and bees and other bugs love it. The chooks love for the bugs as well. They lay better eggs when they can get bug protein.

Hurricane Florence did a number on our property and almost five years later, we are still trying to take back the yard.
