I’m not the only one to compare this settlement to the equivalent of paying a parking ticket. The money is nothing compared to the cost of having every one of their on air “talent” and murdoch himself testifying under oath
Fox Entertainment Network will entertain itself by merely jacking up the fees it charges to cable providers yet again. Want to bet how much it makes back from raised NFL related fees on this alone to pay off the 1st of several lawsuits it will settle out of court?
Now if only 1 or 2 of the coming cases were actually run to fruition instead of settled out of court so that the “cost of doing business” actually put a ding into their coffers and Rupert felt a bit of the sting…
Fox still has to face a $2.4B suit from Smartmatic, and Fox’s board of directors as individuals are suing. Does Fox have enough assets or insurance to weather the storm?
Also, as the settlement was made outside the court, it is tax deductible, so U.S. tax payers are taking it in the shorts again; pay for the wall as the good Mexicans we must be (tRump said the Mexicans were paying for the Wall) and now paying for liable suits about tRump lies

Indeed, the IRS allows it to be listed as a business expense.
AND the settlement doesn’t require them to publish their acknowledgment that they lied.
Pretty soft landing.

Fox will be in real danger only if its viewers can figure out that Fox holds its viewers in contempt and laughs at them.
Same as Their Messiah.

Murdoch has been called the most dangerous man in America, with good reason as he is the force behind the fascist takeover of America.

May the next lawsuits really hurt them, the mendacious gits.

The price of doing business now includes trying to settle out of court every lawsuit brought against them. They just don’t want witnesses under oath.

Leaning on your own people to lie under oath to the investigators . . . felony obstruction of justice may put Murdough & Co behind bars.

Legal hush money. In exchange for a large sum of money both sides agree not to discuss this any longer.

Ah, reptilian Fox — stunning how many Americans want to be force-fed sewage.
Forest for the trees, could be — to help them overlook their Republican screwage.

..as Pinocchio" sings, “..I got no suits to tie me down…”
Geppetto made a SERIOUS mistake wishing this particular “boy was real” !
If republicans really wish to “curb” immigration – here’s their “poster boy”…

Rupert Murdoch was a criminal when he popped out of his mom’s womb. Think how much better the world would be if his mummer got an abortion.

I love how Dominion had to wait until a Conservative outlet “defamed” them before suing.
