They don’t believe that criminals can or should be prosecuted for their crimes, if they are Republicans. They believe the only reason to prosecute someone is for political reasons.

Therefore whether or not Trump committed the crimes specified in the indictment(s), doesn’t matter. Because Trump is Republican, it’s impossible for him to be guilty.

Since 2000, 75 current and former leaders of nations, including democracies, have been arrested and some sent to prison for their crimes and, you know what? Those nations are still standing. No one is above the rule of law, Eric.

It is truly awful that a former president has been indicted. It’s even worse that the ones claiming to be the party of “law and order” want to ignore his crimes.

Then again, the Repubs are threatening and working on retribution for being held accountable for actual crimes, by working on trumping up false crimes on Democrats.

Did trump’s cop walk push the Pennsylvanian republican criminals shooting by police off the page? Was that part of EA’s pandora box? Is Fox being sued by 2 companies also part of the box contents?

You Republicans are missing the point. Democrats don’t want him indicted. They don’t want him convicted. And they don’t want him imprisoned. Republicans do, though. They just don’t want to be seen doing it by their base.

Democrats have tried for years to avoid this. But Trump keeps committing crimes, so he’s hard for prosecutors to ignore. So, they won’t.

Pandora’s Box was opened when the GOP decided to not only turn a blind eye to Trump’s criminal behavior but openly defend it.

It’s terrible that we’ve come to this point, but there’s only one person to blame for it and he’s finally been indicted.

It’s not Democrats who are celebrating. It’s Republican politicians, hoping the system will take him out without their (GOP) fingerprints on the knife. It won’t, not in time, anyway. So Trump is theirs to have and to hold.
