Rose isn’t trying to be the teacher’s pet. She isn’t trying to be elitist, or show up anyone. She’s just a budding STEM master in a cesspool of cheap, replaceable labor.

Hey Will. When is a description of Rose going to be added to the Characters tab above? And adding her to the Cast of Characters in the About tab? She deserves it!

Spud should have used one of his new catch phrases.

Even Seagull looks somewhat miffed, and I’m fairly certain that he wasn’t assigned any homework.

Maybe this is what the future Wallace & Spud came back in time to warn their younger selves about…

Rose – you might want to eat your lunch in the classroom with the teacher today.

Whenever I’m stressed or sad, I read this comic. It always cheers me up, and I’m glad I’m in a universe where it exists. Thank you, will henry, and everyone else that made this comic possible.

A gallery of unassigned “voices in the crowd” is a frequent device in Family Circle. However, I hunted in vain for Amelia’s growl of “Radishes!” here.

For all there is to love in the middle panel, the best detail for me is Wallace looking over at Rose with quiet compassion and concern. None of the annoyed comments are his. We should all be Wallace.
