If they indict T over this relatively petty and questionable grounds, his supporters will only use it as “proof” that the D’s are out to get him and vote for him in droves. Better would be to trump up (intentional) some capital offenses and then to make sure they aren’t seen as partisan, use them against all politicians throughout the federal and state governments. E.g., make anything less than complete transparency by a government official a felony, retroactive to 1900. We’re a democracy: no secrets, no misleading, no lies. Then toss them all over the cliff and start electing some decent, honest, used car salesmen.
chip…hate hath no bounds. Discernment as to what you hate?….any idiot can parrot thoughts and spew hatred, “thoughts” given to him by other men. Try thinking for yourself. It doesn’t hurt as much as you may imagine.
@Chip – so the law is different for some? The prosecutor should look the other way? The grand jury should take a pass?
Let them do their job and if it means that Trump gets some long overdue justice for listening to Roy Cohn as his primary teacher of how to play dirty tricks in politics, then it happens.
What Trump did is classed as a misdemeanor in NY, and yes, it does carry possible jail time. However, as much as I like my little fantasy of Donny Bonespurs sitting in Rikers, I doubt highly that he will see jail time or even a fine. The prosecutor’s case rests largely on Michael “I’m telling the truth!” Cohen, one of the worst possible witnesses ever. I’ll be surprised if Donny even sees the inside of the courthouse.
Thought this supposed to be about trump’s criminal activity; why try to make President Biden the topic of wrongdoing. We always say “nobody’s above the law”; yet it seems trump has been given many privileges that show he is above the law.

What is the point that Bok is trying to make, that Trump is guilty and should be put away, or that he is guilty but above the law ?

I really doubt that weak, rundown ex president could survive another romp with Stormy, physically or financially.
