This will never happen. If Trump is convicted even of insurrection, he will never serve jail time. If nothing else, the appeals will drag out until after his death.

Buttercup has provided one example after another of his venality and his total disregard for the laws of the US. He currently is encouraging a protest against his arrest, and he hopes it will imitate the 6Jan outrage he provoked to overturn the election. In each case he has asked for money to ‘help’ in his defence, but which most likely will end up in his pocket, with his creditors and his followers left holding pocket lint.

While he might be either the 2nd or 3rd president to be impeached, for many he definitely wins first place as the worst of the lot.

If he gets indicted for insurrection, remove his portrait. Let him go the way of Benedict Arnold in history (although Arnold at least served with distinction before turning traitor).

i am SO sick of this man- this deal about his arrest today was was all about him groveling for even MORE attention. he pulled that out of a hat (feel free to think of other places) knowing it wouldn’t happen (and so far it hasn’t) but it brought him into the never-ending spotlight to which he is so sadly addicted! what would happen if the entire media would just totally IGNORE him?? hmm- i was going to say he would go totally nuts—oops- too late

Please Democrats, make it stick this time and remove Trump from the 24 race. By any means necessary. DJT’s perp walk will be legendary, Bad Orange Man will become an even bigger nightmare once his aspirations are crushed. Release the Kraken!
