Or maybe one that explains how the other bank failures were also because of “woke”.

Same for the crypto exchanges.

Why don’t you try and explain what “woke” is and THEN try to explain how you blame bank failures on it.

Grow up. Banks failed because of deregulation and unsafe business risks.

Not “woke” however you define that—but unregulated.

And to guarantee that this can, and will, happen again, Biden veto’s a bill mandating the fiduciary clause.

I saw a quote over the weekend (sorry, couldn’t find it again) from a banking specialist that said blaming SVB’s problems on “woke” is like saying 1+1=blue.

A good reminder that correlation (if there is even one in this case) does not equal causation.

I laugh woke/wouk/wohk no matter how you spell it simply means “Being aware of and ready to most likely experience racial prejudice and discrimination” so the bank was aware and is experiencing racial prejudice? What a dweeb, who in their right mind would associate those two, asinine at best!

Woke? No, stupid.

Factually inaccurate. The officers and investors of SVB are gonna take a haircut, and the SEC is already investigating their stock trades right before it went belly-up.

I’m old, so I remember when the word “Liberal” simply meant a person\s political beliefs. The media turned it into a word meaning "wimp, " “unmannly,” “gullible.” The same media is changing the word “woke” in the same way, simply to designate anything they don’t like.

Is this an encouragement to make a run on the banks? How utterly anti-American

Canada has had 41 bank failures since 1968. The US has had 515 since 2001. Has more to do with the repeal of Glass Steagall than being “woke”. But yeah, the way we bail them out is criminal.

“Wokeness” had nothing to do with the failure of either Silicon Valley Bank or Signature Bank (and surely, not Credit Suisse). But shallow, ignorant people prefer to throw out meaningless buzzwords when they don’t have anything more substantive to propose.

Woke? A bank? How transparent do you people get?
