Maybe the TV shop remembered that they sent a defective one and they are bringing a replacement. Or maybe not.

Dad only has himself to blame, leaving two 8 year olds home alone in the house is not a good idea. At least he could have put both of them out as look like short sleeve weather. Why did dad even have to go along to the store?

You’d need a lot more than duct tape and glue to fix that. Your best bet is if the television is under warranty, and new televisions usually are.

This would be a good time for Kevin to use his mutant powers again to stall Miles’ parents. He still has those right?
