The US has used the term “terrorism” as a bludgeon against a wide range of opponents. And now it’s being used to arrest peaceful protesters as terrorists. In this cartoon’s example, it looks like a prelude to invading Mexico with the US military. That’ll go well.
No, no, no. The NRA doesn’t traffic drugs or humans. Or have gangs hustling innocents, raping women and children. Operate illegally and covertly evading the law, and do kidnapping. This toon is an expression of the extremely ignorant, who believe anyone group they appose should be called terrorists. So typical of lying left wing liberalism. Who BTW are the real “social” terrorists.
While I get the joke, as unfunny as it is, the NRA is not a “terrorist” organization. In my opinion, although the NRA has devolved into a despicable organization, there is no definition of “terrorist” that could be accurately applied.
There was a time in my life when I dressed up in camo and carried a weapon, with people calling me “sir” everywhere. Of course, I was in the military at the time….
What really worries the WOKE Left? A half a billion guns & a couple trillion round of ammo in the hands of a 100,000,000 Americans who say, “Not Today”. We know it’s not gun violence you fear, it’s Our Freedom that haunts you. Otherwise you would lockup the violent thugs terrorizing American cities.
My Trumper nephew and his drinking buddies believe that they conform to the 2nd Amendment’s words about “a well regulated Militia” by meeting at a bar before they go out target shooting. And, of course, that shooting at (and missing) targets while drunk (after their “meeting”) is well organized training like any Militia would do…
The recreational marijuana issue lost in Oklahoma, and one of the anti arguments was that it’s a “gateway drug.” I’d argue that it’s only that if you’re buying it from a street dealer that has stronger, more profitable stuff to tempt you with. If you can buy it in a store, you won’t be exposed to that temptation.

Why not? The NRA’s lobbying for guns has probably killed more Americans than war.
